收到scientific reports的来信，邀请做editor 已有33人参与

听说这个杂志比较水。不知道进去了，会不会败坏我的名誉。 Dear Dr xxx, I am writing to invite you to serve as an Editorial Board Member for Scientific Reports, a journal from Nature Publishing Group, the publishers of Nature. Scientific Reports launched in 2011 as a multidisciplinary, online-only, open access publication covering all areas of the natural sciences. It does not set a threshold of perceived importance to the papers that it publishes; rather, it publishes all papers that are judged to be technically valid. All research papers benefit from rapid peer review and publication and, through the open access publishing model, are available to the entire scientific community. Nature Publishing Group brings 140 years of experience in the communication and publication of scientific research to the open access arena. Nature Publishing Group started publishing open access content in 2005, and now offers authors an open access option when publishing in Nature Communications and many of our non-Nature branded Academic Journals. Scientific Reports uses the tools, technology and experience of Nature Publishing Group, to provide our authors with improved service, visibility and functionality. We have divided Scientific Reports into broad areas, each of which is represented by an Editorial Advisory Panel member, who offers editorial support and advice, and facilitates the recruitment of the Editorial Board. The Editorial Advisory Panel member for Neuroscience is Professor Trevor Robbins from the University of Cambridge. 不奇怪，那是混淆了能发高影响因子论文和能做编辑的区别。 我们可以看看80%期刊（包括低影响因子的期刊， 如J APPL POLYM SCI, J MATER RESEARCH)，其编辑或编辑顾问委员会的成员地位都是很高的。不是能发几篇论文就能当编辑或编辑顾问委员的。据我了解，要是谁能被因子4以上非开源期刊聘为编辑或编辑顾问委员，会牛炸天的，可数数中国科学界又有多少。 这需要机缘巧合，因子5.5的SCI REP给了Yung PI一些机会，应该珍惜，即便是论文收费，和那些被邀请的人又有和关系，好好履行你的职责吧，是个很好平台，熟悉稿件流程，对自己的提升是无形的。 另外，光学领域有一个期刊叫OPTIC EXPRESS，简称OE，每年2000多篇，一直收费，10多年了，现在公认为是和OL一个级别的，也没见说什么。但SCI REP所受待遇就不一样。这反映了很多心理因素，说不清道不明。有个网友大骂说一年发2万篇，专挣中国人的钱，很幽默，典型的欲喷之，不需要理由。 |
