| the conformational properties of the polymer chains are determined in dilute solution of the polymers. Viscosity, light scattering, small-angle X-ray scattering, and osmotic pressure conformational properties play a key role in determining the properties of polymer solutions, and therefore, in both synthesis and processing. The conformational properties parameters include the steric hindrance parameter, and the molar stiffness function K that is directly related to the intrinsic viscosity.
