As a psychological student, telling the truth, I am afraid that your words are very hard to touch people because they are within reaching of everyone. Like a sentence goes that even if we know golden rules of everything(e.g., no smoking, living positively, getting up early, going to bed early etc) we find it very hard to do just as idioms say. Because each of us, is very delicate and fragile to break down easily, has many limitations.
So, living happily is just a ideal state of people, whereas living painfully is a constant state of people. So we have to live with that. Let me tell you several facts that are definite for everyone but are very tough for human to accept. Death is ultimate belonging for everyone. Because after birth, we are steadily going toward aging and death. It is only matter of time. But many people refuse to accept this fact that death is part of our existence. If we avoid death, we cannot live either. Therefore, thinking positively seems silent in answering the question of existence of human and smooth pain of losing a relative.
Another fact is loneliness. Many people think getting married is to find a company to share one's sorrow and delight. However, many times, we will find our spouse still can not help us for everything. Let alone sometimes when we can not be understood by them, being confused with that why cannot him or her just feel what we are feeling, experience our emotion and understand our situation. And franking speaking, even if we erase distinction of gender, everyone, as being solitary on earth. are doomed to be alone. Because in the inner heart of ourselves, no one truly knows. Our parents usually cannot witness our funerals and maybe our spouse could left us behind, our children having their own kids, sacrificing themselves just like we do. We might be better off keeping a cat or something to accompany us.
We need a strong ego, instead of thinking those naive faith which are helpless in both situations of extreme nor normal. |
