Career Opportunities in Nanofiber Technology Development or Pharmaceutical Formu

Duties: Post (1) • The appointee will initiate, implement and manage projects on nanofiber technology development Post (2) • The appointee will initiate, implement and manage projects on pharmaceutical formulation development The appointee will also be responsible for: • Achieving project milestones, writing up project proposals, reports and giving slide presentations from time to time; • Working closely with project sponsors, suppliers, professors and other project related parties; • Supervising technical staffs; • Maintaining a good knowledge of the market trend and build network with local professionals for potential collaborations. Requirements: • A Master degree or above in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Medical Engineering, Medical Science or Pharmaceutical Science with experience in any of the following areas: Post (1) o Electrospinning o Wound management o Controlled release o Air or water filtration o Characterization of nanomaterials Post (2) o Formulation development o Analytical skills in HPLC • Good technical experience on electrospinning or pharmaceutical formulation development is an advantage; • 2 years of professional experience is preferred; • Positive, creative, analytical and good troubleshooting skills; • Ability to initiate and work independently; • Have a sense of ownership for his/her work, good interpersonal and communication skills; • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Salary and Benefits: Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Medical and dental benefits as well as annual leave will be provided. Appointment will be offered on a 1-year contract, renewable subject to mutual agreement and performance.
