Firstly, water-soluble macrocyclic polyamine hexamethyl-1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotridecyl -4,11-diene(CT) was synthesized on the basis of the literature to assist the liquid method to prepare homogeneous nickel sulfide nanoflower. The structure, composition and morphology of the sample was charactered by XRD, XPS, SEM, TEM and SAED. The results showed that nickel sulfide nanoflower, whose size was distributed in 5.5-6.5μm, was composed by nanorod with diameter was 160-350nm and length was 2μm, a single crystal that growed along the plane. Next, the diffusion limited aggregation mechanism (DLA)of nanoflower formation, which might control different nanostructures, was provided and comfirmed by time evolution and contrast experiment. Meanwhile, the experimental results showed that flower-like microstructure depended strongly on reaction conditions, such as reactant and CT concentration. Furthermore, optical studies have shown that crystal has the existance of imperfection.
This method opened a new way of material morphology generated of nickel sulfide, and might be used as a universal synthetic method to construct metal chalcogenide compounds semiconductor micro-nano material with novel morphology and complicated form. |
