[交流] What can you see from the mouse?

The day before yesterday, I found a mouse was trapped in a barrel near our restaurant, the mouse is alive, the second day morning, I found 3 mice in the barrel, in  the afternoon, the quantity of mice is add to 4,but they are all alive,they are seem to come from one family.In the third day morning,I found the 4 mice have died. there is food and water in the barrel,why are the four mice all die and why  the first mouse can live two days in the barrel?

I think hope is the reason for the first mouse to stick to two days,because he maybe think his family members would save him,but when his family members were trapped together,they are all hopelessness in that moment,so the four mice all died.Maybe you think this is just a joke.How about my explanation?
