Abstract: This paper gave introduction about the development history of lead-acid battery and its working principle, compared the lead-acid battery with currently wide-used battery in terms of performance characteristics, and explored the market settings of lead-acid battery. This paper illustrated the vital market position of VRLAB ( valve regulated lead acid battery) by highlighting its high performance-price ratio, while pointed out the existing problems and analyzed the cause for these problem, sketching a development trend of the lead-acid battery in the future. | In this study, we mainly introduce the history and working principle of lead battery, comparing the characteristics of lead-acid battery and other broadly used batteries and investigating the market as well. Valve Regulated Lead Battery (VRLAB) plays an important role at battery market due to its high quality but with low price. We also point out the problems of lead-acid battery, then analyzing what lead to the problems, and finally look ahead the development of lead-acid battery. |
