Applicants are invited to join the Molecular Population Genetics Lab as a postdoctoral fellow to work on the project “AQMARINOME2016: Increasing Singapore’s Food Fish Production through Aquaculture Genomics R&D” funded by NRF.

Requirements:
PhD in bioinformatics and statistical genetics.
Original research publications with at least two first-author papers in an internationally recognized peer reviewed journal.
Skills in R & Perl language, and a willingness to work in a team are essential.

Responsibilities:
Analysis of DNA/RNA sequencing data to address questions related to traits of commercial interest
Improving and developing tools for predicting genome-wide breeding values
Developing databases to facilitate molecular breeding for fish and plant species
