PhD scholarships are now available at Macquarie University in Sydney,
Australia for outstanding domestic and international students for up
to three years at $25,849 to $29,849 (AU) per year tax free depending
upon your experience and academic record. Join a world-leading
research team that is working towards an understanding of the
properties of porous nanoparticles in the body, with a focus on their
fabrication and their characterisation.

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated students to conduct research
in the synthesis of mesoporous particles such as silica and their
biological interaction such as the formation of a protein corona.
Inorganic synthesis skills would be highly advantageous as well as
characterisation skills such as electron microscopy, gas adsorption
and spectroscopic methods. Your project would involve individual as
well as team exploration of this interdisciplinary area.

You will have a track record in scientific excellence and a background
and interest in diverse areas such as materials chemistry,
self-assembly, material characterization methods, nanomedicine and
immunology. Your application should include a resume, copies of your
academic transcripts and two referees. It would also be advantageous
if you include a publication list. Macquarie also lists further
eligibility requirements on their website hdr.mq.edu.au. Address your
