Ruhr-University Bochum, Germany: PhD position within an EU project

Our surface chemistry and catalysis group focuses on the vibrational spectroscopic studies on catalysis and energy-related materials including metal oxides (model systems and nanoparticles) and metal-organic frameworks (MOFs). The principal techniques are high-resolution electron energy loss spectroscopy (HREELS) and a novel infrared spectroscopy under ultrahigh vacuum conditions. For more details please see: http://www.ruhr-uni-bochum.de/ag-wang/ Currently, we have one open PhD position within an EU project: In-situ monitoring probe molecule adsorption and reactions at parent and defective sites of DEMOFs. This position is financially supported by a Marie Sklodowska-Curie European Training Network DEFNET (three years, salary: 3100 EURO/month).
