(1)The maximum corrosion depth of basic metal, heat affected zone, heat affected zone thermo mechanicallly affected zone in Al-Zn-Mg alloy joint respectively were 1, 2 and 3 ; The maximum corrosion depth of the relevant regional in Al-Zn-Mg-Sc-Zr alloy joints respectively were 4, 5 and 6. Compared with Al-Zn-Mg alloy joints, the corresponding zones in Al-Zn-Mg-Sc-Zr alloy joints had a smaller 7 and a smaller 8 in EXCO solution.The stress corrosion susceptibility factor of Al-Zn-Mg and Al-Zn-Mg-Sc-Zr alloy joints were 9 and 10 respectively. (2)The order of the intergranular corrosion, exfoliation corrosion resistance for the four zones was same in FSW welded joints of Al-Zn-Mg alloys and Al-Zn-Mg-Sc-Zr alloys: 11 > 12> 13 > 14 .The most sensitive zone of stress corrosion was 15 in the FSW joints. Compared with Al-Zn-Mg alloy FSW joints, Al-Zn-Mg-Sc-Zr alloy FSW joint has greater resistance to 16, 17 corrosion and 18 corrosion. (3)The FSW joints of Al-Zn-Mg and Al-Zn-Mg-Sc-Zr alloy were all made up of BM, HAZ, TMAZ and WNZ. Their BM and HAZ had a fibrous structure, The grains of their TMAZ mainly were severely deformed, Their WNZ had a very fine grains structure. Compared with the Al-Zn-Mg alloy weld FSW joint, Al-Zn-Mg-Sc-Zr alloy FSW joint had a lower 18, a smaller grain sizes.This indicated that the improvement corrosion resistance of addition of scandium and zirconium was mainly due to refining grain and inhibiting the19¡¯ formation of 20 particles. |
