这样的邀请信能够通过英国的AV签证申请吗？

看到论坛里很多人说英国AV签证容易悲剧，邀请信有很多细节需要注意。 以下是我的邀请信，麻烦请高手或者成功签证的过来人帮我看看，有哪些地方需要修改？ 我刚来没多久，积累的金币不多，有时还要下载资料使用。这次就不悬赏了，抱歉！ 等我签证结束，无论成败，都会把经验记录下来，以便帮助到后来者。 以下信的内容略长，大家稍微耐心看，谢谢！ Dear *****, It gives me great pleasure to invite you to our institution as an Academic Visitor. We very much look forward to the opportunity of exchanging ideas with you concerning topics of mutual interest. We confirm that your research project, entitled ****************************, which we have read with interest, falls within the scope of our broad research area. In order that your time with us is as rewarding as possible, we ask that you provide us with evidence of your English language proficiency, i.e. an IELTS score of 6. An Academic Visitor in the Faculty of*************** is entitled to use the University Library and computing facilities, and is welcome to attend any of the research events that are organised by us, including our regular research seminars. We understand that you are especially interested in new media study, We hope very much that you will be prepared to make a presentation upon a topic of your choosing at one of these seminars, and we look forward to discussing a possible topic with you when you arrive. In addition, you are welcome, with the permission of the appropriate Lecturer, to attend classes in any of our undergraduate or postgraduate courses that interest you, either from the point of view of their intellectual content or their pedagogic style. We are unable to provide you with your own office, but you will have access to our premises, and be able to hot-desk from areas that we will designate on your arrival, which will include the use of shared facilities. The fee for accessing these facilities will be £1,000 for the year. We understand that the best time for you to visit us will be from September 2015 to September 2016. Please note that Academic Visitors from outside of the EU must hold valid entry clearance into the UK. If you do not already have a visa, you should access the UK Border Agency website (http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/) for advice on the most applicable visa for your circumstances. If you are a full-time member of academic staff, you may be able to apply for an Academic Visitor visa, which entitles you to visit for up to one year. If you are a PhD student who is not employed as a full-time member of academic staff, you may be able to apply for a ‘general visitor’ or ‘student visitor’ visa for up to six months. Please can you inform me at your earliest opportunity of the type of visa you will be applying for so that we can keep this in our records. Once you arrive in the UK, we will need to take a copy of your visa for our records. If there is any further information you would like about these arrangements, please do feel free to write directly to me. |
