The Agilent Jet Stream dual spray electrospray ionization (ESI)source was used in negative mode to focus the LC effluent and separately introduce reference compounds to generate ions for analysis。 A reference solution containing purine and hexakis (1H, 1H, 3H-tetrafluoropropoxy) phophazine (HP-921) was continuously introduced just prior to the ESI source using an isocratic pump into a separate sprayer of the dual Jet stream source.In the egative mode, this solution produced signals of m/z 119.0362 (proton abstracted purine) and 980.0164 (acetate adduct of HP-921); these signals were used for continuous internal mass calibration throughout the analysis, in order to assure high mass accuracy for ions detected during the analysis. |
