A PhD position is available in City University of Hong Kong

A PhD studenthsip position (entrance in this Sept) is available in Linfeng Huang’s group at City University of Hong Kong (deadline is 7th of April) You have to meet these minimal requirements: 1． Has a master degree (or expect to graduate in summer); 2． English score - CET6: 490; TOEFL: 550 (paper-based test) or 213 (computer-based test) or 79 (internet-based test); IELTS: overall 6.5. To be considered for this position, please send your CV to Dr. Huang by email: linfeng.huang@cityu.edu.hk (before 7th of April): Introduction of the lab: Dr. Linfeng Huang is passionate about pursuing fundamental questions in RNA biology and firmly believes such knowledge can be exploited to create powerful RNA-based therapeutics. His primary research interest is in understanding the mechanisms of RNAi and its related phenomena, for example gene regulation by antisense RNA, in bacteria. He is also developing RNAi technologies based on the pro-siRNA technology (http://www.pro-siRNA.com). The projects will utilise a wide range of techniques from molecular biology to advanced bioinformatic analyses and will involve a few research organisms from bacteria to mammalian systems.
