香港城市大学 PhD in neural engineering/neuroscience

One opening for PhD student in Neural Engineering at the Department of Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering in City University of Hong Kong. http://personal.cityu.edu.hk/~chungtin/ Interested students with backgrounds in Biomedical Engineering, Neuroscience/Biology, or related area are strongly encouraged to apply. Priority will be given to applicants with Master’s degree or at his/her final year of master program. The candidates should have strong interest in interdisciplinary research and highly motivated, with experience in one or more of the following area: 1. Electrophysiology and animal stereotaxic experiment 2. Animal behavioral experiment (rat and/or mice) 3. Neural signal processing The minimum English proficiency requirements are: a) a minimum TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based) or 213 (computer-based) or 79 (internet-based); or b) a minimum overall band score of 6.5 in IELTS; PhD studentships are available at a monthly stipend of $HK 14,800 .
