| Molecular directed evolution does not require prior knowledge of such factors as the structure, conserved sites and catalytic mechanism of the proteins. It only needs to create the evolutionary conditions, simulate natural evolutionary mechanism, in vitro modify the related genes and subsequently directionally select the genes to obtain the desired mutants. |
