Forest fire in Dalian

| I just heard the sad news that a big forest fire broke out in Dalian yesterday, which claimed 5 lives. It happened in the mountain called "Dahei Shan" at about 2 pm. Unfortunately the wind there was level 6, which made the fire spread quickly. Many local resident posted the pictures to the internet which showed heavy smoke rose up over the hills. It was close to 6pm when the firemen could get the fire under control. It is supposed that some person started a fire during the picnic. This lesson shows that everyone should learn some public security knowledge and obey principal rules. And for some scenic spot which can attract lots of tourists, the staff should often check the potential security problems. Pray for the dead people. |
