73rd DEVICE RESEARCH CONFERENCE (DRC)

June 21-24, 2015 . Ohio State University

We are pleased to announce the extended March 16, 2015 abstract submission deadline for the 73rd Device Research Conference (DRC), to be held at Ohio State University from June 21 to 24, 2015. Two-page abstracts will be accepted by online submission at the conference web site. The DRC Technical Digest is published by IEEE and is made available online through IEEE Xplore.

For over seven decades, the DRC has brought together leading scientists, researchers, and students to share their latest discoveries in device science, technology and modeling. Key attractions include:
•Oral and poster presentations on electronic and photonic device experiments and theory
•Plenary and invited presentations given by world-wide leaders
•Short courses in rapidly developing fields (recent courses on graphene, 2D materials)
•University setting encourages open technical discussion of recent advances
•Great atmosphere for social events including lively evening “rump” sessions
•Strong student participation, including Best Student Paper and Poster Awards

The DRC is coordinated with the Electronic Materials Conference (EMC) held during the same week from June 24 to 26, 2015. This recognizes the strong interaction between device and electronic materials research and provides for fruitful exchange of information between attendees of both conferences.

The 2015 plenary speakers are:
•Mark Rodwell (UCSB), Transistors for VLSI, for Wireless: A View Forwards Through Fog
•M. Ashraf Alam (Purdue), On Flexible Electronics, Percolation Doping, and the Limits of Ohm's Law
•Fred Kish (Infinera), Photonic Integrated Circuits
