Dear Students, My research group has RA openings for strong Ph.D. students with computer science background (or equivalent) and interests in any of the following topics in Fall 2015. Openings are available before August for Fall 2015 enrollment, in the Computer Science Department, Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago. * Computer Security * Networks and Systems * Trustworthy Power Grid Cyber-Physical Systems * Modeling and Simulation of Large-Scale Systems Required skills: * Strongly motivated * Strong background in programming, networking and systems * Communication skills; written and spoken English * Good knowledge of C/C++ and Linux * Strong mathematical background is preferred Depending on the background of the student, an appropriate project can be found. The important thing is to be enthusiastic and be willing to work hard to experiment, explore and learn new things.
