The above results indicate that the RGD-modified PHBV films prepared by our modification procedure significantly decreased the nonspecific adsorption of fibrinogen from human plasma compared to unmodified or NH3-plasma-treated PHBV films, which might, in turn, decrease the adhesion of platelets and further thrombus formation. Therefore, the above-described surface modification strategy can improve both the blood compatibility and the cellular compatibility of PHBV films. |
