苏州西交利物浦大学博士研究生招生（风沙地貌方向，英国利物浦大学博士学位）

西交利物浦大学（Xi’an Jiao Tong-Liverpool University, XJTLU）经中国教育部正式批准，由西安交通大学和英国利物浦大学合作在苏州创立的，具有独立法人和鲜明特色的新型国际大学。它是中国目前唯一一所强强合作，以理、工、管起步，以英语教学为主的的中外合作大学。她位于美丽的苏州独墅湖高教区。 与国内一般大学不同，虽然学生将在西交利物浦大学学习，但是却在英国利物浦大学注册，在毕业时也将被授予英国利物浦大学的博士学位，在3年培养期间，学校提供全额奖学金（免学费+3500人民币/月的生活津贴），并资助学生参与国际会议。学生将会由西交利物浦大学导师和英国利物浦大学导师共同指导。 学生一旦录取，将参与一个阻沙栅栏风沙动力方面的课题，以下是该项目的简介 Fences are often used for two purposes: reducing wind erosion or trapping sand. Most fence studies have the focus on how the configurations of fences affect wind erosion. However, the sand trapping effect research has been mostly descriptive. Therefore this research is to examine the topographic adjustment of the newly formed dunes as a function of fence configurations and wind conditions using the experiments both in the wind tunnel and in the field. In the wind tunnel experiment, flow field around fences, sand transport patterns, and the shape change of the newly formed dunes will be measured periodically around fence models with different designs. In the field, full scale sand fences with similar configurations will be deployed, which can be used to validate the wind tunnel experiments. This work will contribute to the further understanding of complex sand-wind-dune-fence four-way coupling processes and also provide guidance for the real-world practices. 本项目的主导师是西交利物浦大学环境科学系李柏良博士 （http://academic.xjtlu.edu.cn/envsci/Staff/bailiang-li） 共同导师是利物浦大学地理与规划学系Andy Plater教授 （http://www.liv.ac.uk/environmental-sciences/staff/andrew-plater/） 对申请人和申请材料的要求 1. 具有在地理、地质、地球科学、环境科学，或相关学科的本科以上学位 （最好是有研究风沙地貌的野外或者风洞的研究经历）。 2. 有效的雅思考试成绩，6.5分及以上。 4. 两封推荐信，个人简介，申请书，成绩单、毕业证书等。 5. 其它，如发表过的论文，以及其他帮助你申请的材料。 具体招生信息请参考 http://www.xjtlu.edu.cn/attachme ...
