catalysis communications投了一篇文章，外审意见修改投出去到编辑手里后，一天就退回来，原文如下 Dear xxx, YOU HAVE NOT READ THE INSTRUCTIONS IN THE PREVIOUS E-MAIL. Please resubmit the revised manuscript with all the changes made in the manuscript and HIGHLIGHTED. Only then can I consider it for acceptance. ALSO, remember, the Response is not an end in itself. Your Response-to-Reviewers is not a conversation with the reviewers since they may or may not ever see your response. You MUST (1) answer their questions AND make appropriate revisions in the paper. Even if you don't add anything new, add to the text in the paper an appropriate comment, such as why you did or did not do something, or give a reference. Please resubmit the revised manuscript with all the changes made in the manuscript and highlighted. Only then can I consider it for acceptance. 外审意见我已按要求一一修改，并罗列在Response to Reviewers。不懂到底是哪里出问题了？要怎么改 之前的邮件是 Dear xxx, The reviewers, all experts in various aspects of your paper, have done a thorough evaluation of your paper and recommend major revisions in your manuscript. Thus, revision needs to address ALL issues raised and changes need to be made in the manuscript. I would be willing to reconsider your paper for publication if you address carefully and in a detailed way all ISSUES raised in your RESPONSE TO THE REVIEWERS and make appropriate corrections in your MANUSCRIPT. Please resubmit the revised manuscript with all the changes made in the manuscript and highlighted. Only then can I consider it for acceptance. For reconsideration of your manuscript, in your RESPONSE TO THE REVIEWERS you must: (1) state every issue raised by the reviewers in sequence, (2) address/rebut EACH issue/comment raised, (3) indicate how & where you have changed the manuscript. Please resubmit the revised manuscript with all the changes made in the manuscript and highlighted. Only then can I consider it for acceptance. Remember, the Response is not an end in itself.
