Queen Mary University of London is one of London and the UK's leading research-focused higher education institutions and was ranked 9th in the UK in the 2014 Research Excellence Framework (REF) according to the Times Higher Education. Queen Mary University of London was ranked in the top 100 universities in the world in 2014 according to QS. PhD studentship opportunities are available in 2015 in the areas of thermofluids engineering, computational fluid dynamics and numerical heat transfer. The studentships are jointly funded by Queen Mary University of London and CSC (The China Scholarship Council). Candidates with strong numerical and/or experimental backgrounds in heat transfer, fluid mechanics and thermophysics are preferred.
