The laboratory of Dr. Chris Wong (https://fhs.umac.mo/staff/academic-staff/chris-koon-ho-wong/) is inviting research assistants to join his research on fungal physiology, infection and pathogenesis. The successful candidates will use various functional genomics approaches to study the transcription and chromatin regulation of key fungal physiologies associated with the process of fungal pathogenesis. The candidates will have opportunities to perform and analyze data of various advanced Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) applications such as ChIP-seq, RNA-seq, ribosomal profiling and single cell genomics, etc and to collaborate with fungal groups around the world. Requirements: • Backgrounds in biology, genomics, bioinformatics, statistics, computer science, or other related fields.
