| It can be seen from the Fig, with the increasing ratio of X/Y, the fluorescence intensities of upconversion blue light, green light and red light presented a common increasing trend. This is because when the X ion (with very small radius) was put into the substrate material, the geometric symmetry of crystal can be effectively reduced, which can adjust crystal field environment around rare earth ions, and thus leading to an increasing upconversion intensity. |
