SINGAPORE SINGAPORE UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY AND DESIGN Share Job Categories Academic Fields Graduate Student Optics & Optical Engineering Engineering Physics Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering -Other We are looking for motivated and talented Ph.D. students to join us at SUTD. This position will provide a full Ph.D. scholarship with a very competitive monthly stipend. The position will also come with the possibility of an overseas attachment and industry internship. The selected candidate will work on projects dealing with optics and photonics and will develop hands-on experience with experiments, as well as in the modeling and design of nanophotonic devices. Qualified candidates should have experience with, or be interested in, the design, nanofabrication and characterization of optical devices. For more information on our research, please see our website (http://photonics.sutd.edu.sg/). A Bachelor ¡ˉs degree in Engineering, Physics, Optics or a related field is required. The successful candidate should have a good GPA and be a self-starter, with a thirst for knowledge and good interpersonal skills. Experience in optics or cleanroom nanofabrication is highly desired, though the most important quality is a desire to do breakthrough research!
