亚洲大洋洲地球科学学会2015年会公告 亚洲大洋洲地球科学学会(Asia Oceania Geosciences Society,简称AOGS)2015年会将于8月2-7日在新加坡召开,现就“Greenhouse Gases Emissions in Asian Terrestrial Ecosystems in a Changing World”和“Natural and Human Impacts on Soil Carbon Sequestration in the Asia-Oceania Region During the Past Three Decades”两个主题征集摘要。 具体通知如下: 1、会议网站:http://www.asiaoceania.org/aogs2015/public.asp?page=home.htm 2、会议摘要截止日期:2015年2月18日 3、摘要征集主题简介: A Biogeoscience Session (BG08):Greenhouse Gases Emissions in Asian Terrestrial Ecosystems in a Changing World The Asia-Oceania region has the largest population with an increasing need for food production. Thus, there has been widespread land-use and land-cover change. In addition, there is evidence of climate variability and change over the last century, e.g., warming and changes in precipitation pattern in the central Asia. These changes would alter biological and biogeochemical processes, with implications for the greenhouse gases (GHG) emissions from different terrestrial ecosystems such as cropland, grassland, and forest in the region. This session provides a forum for discussions of relevant research outcomes. Topics include, but are not limited to (1) mitigation options on methane (CH4), nitrous oxide (N2O), and carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from various terrestrial ecosystems, (2) modelling development on GHG estimation via process-based and other models, (3) carbon-nitrogen-water interaction and its effect on GHG emissions in the Asia-Oceania region (4) new equipment and techniques in GHG observation. We encourage submission of contributions using observational and modeling approaches. Conveners: *Dr. Xiaotang Ju (China Agricultural University, China) juxt@cau.edu.cn Dr. Xianglan Li (BNU, China) xlli@bnu.edu.cn A Biogeoscience Session (BG10):Natural and Human Impacts on Soil Carbon Sequestration in the Asia-Oceania Region During the Past Three Decades The Asia-Oceania countries faced the dilemma of large population with the limited land resources under the changing climate. Soils of farmland, forest, grassland and wetland have undergone more intensive alteration within the past three decades, because of climate change and human activities. These changes would alter biological and biogeochemical processes, with implications for the carbon cycle in the region. As a result, soil carbon, a means of carbon reservoir and one of the most important indicators for soil quality, has also changed, either increased or decreased, more rapidly than before. This session provides a forum for discussions of relevant research outcomes. Topics include, but are not limited to 1) changes in major carbon pools of the biosphere and pedosphere, 2) carbon transportation among various pools, and 3) influential mechanisms of climate change and human activity on the carbon cycling in the Asia-Oceania region. We encourage submission of contributions using observational and modeling approaches. Conveners: *Mr. Fanqiao MENG (China Agricultural University, China) mengfq@cau.edu.cn Dr. Wenju Zhang (Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, China) zhangwenju01@caas.cn |
