[求助] Word转换成PDF格式时出现Type 3 fonts的错误！【有效期至2008年6月10日】

我的文章是用Office 2003版本的word写的，内有一张图（自己在word里面画的），在British Poultry Science杂志上在线投稿时，审稿人给我发来E-mail，说系统无法打开我的PDF文章（在线投稿时系统直接将WORD格式转化为PDF格式），我自己去打，也不行，返回的回馈信息是：We are sorry, but there is a problem with the PDF file(s) named Effects of maternal dietary supplementation with Selenium and Methionine on selenium concentration and stability of lipids in the thigh of progeny.pdf. Our system cannot process this file. The most common reason for this is badly embedded fonts or Type 3 fonts (which we do not support at the moment). If possible, please change the font settings and/or re-distil this PDF to a lower Adobe Acrobat version and try again.

  I received a "Type 3 font" error during PDF creation. What should I do?

  Answer ：
  The problem is that Type 3 fonts are actually bitmaps. Bitmapped fonts display poorly on screen in PDF files and sometimes cause printing problems.

We recommend that you substitute Adobe Postscript Type 1 fonts for any bitmap fonts (e.g., Postscript Type 3 bitmapped fonts, PCL fonts, MacOS bitmap fonts, Windows vector (outline) fonts). Type 1 fonts are displayed much better than Type 3 fonts, even though the paper in Type 1 fonts may print the same as the one in Type 3 fonts.
