因此对六甲基二硅烷的合成研究主要集中在用碱金属还原耦合三甲基氯硅烷这一工艺上面。特别地,用锂还原耦合三甲基氯硅烷制备六甲基二硅烷的收率相对比较高,主要是由于金属锂形成的化合物具有部分共价化合物的性质,在有机溶剂中的溶解性相对大一些,在与三甲基氯硅烷作用时则要易于反应生成六甲基二硅烷。

而对于采用钾或钠-钾合金来还原的研究则相对较少,主要是由于钾过于活泼,使用时存在一定危险。本文选用价廉易得的钠与三甲基氯硅烷反应制备了六甲基二硅烷,在合成过程中,系统研究了各种因素对耦合反应产率的影响,并筛选出因素水平进行了正交实验,从而选出最佳工艺条件。

Therefore, research on the synthesis of  hexamethyl disilane is mainly focused on the process of reducing coupling trimethyl chlorosilane (TMSCl) by alkali metal. Especially, relatively high yield of hexamethyl disilane can be obtained by reducing coupling TMSCl with metallic Li, which can be attributed to the partial covalent properties of the formed Li salt, and the relatively high solubility of Li salt will contribute to the easy formation of product hexamethyl disilane.

While research on the reduction with K or Na-K alloy is relatively rare due to the potential danger of active metallic K. Hexamethyl disilane has been prepared by using cheap Na and TMSCl as the substrates in this paper. Effects of various factors on the coupling yield were studied systematically, some factors were selected for orthotest to afford the optimal reaction conditions.
