Postdoc position in Nanophotonics and 2D materials at Argonne National Lab

Nanoscience and Technology Division Center for Nanoscale Materials Argonne National Laboratory The Nanoscience and Technology Division/Center for Nanoscale Materials (CNM) at Argonne National Laboratory has an available postdoctoral position within the Nanophotonics Group, funded through the Major Facilities Operations for Center for Nanoscale Materials program. The position is funded for one year with the possibility of an extension (subject to available funding and performance evaluation). The prospective researcher will carry out research in the area of optical nano-imaging and nano-spectroscopy of novel two-dimensional materials. A strong experimental background in two-dimensional materials, near-field techniques, laser optics or scanning probe microscopy is preferred. Additional expertise in plasmonics, nanophotonics, metamaterials, infrared spectroscopy or ultrafast optics is beneficial. Minimum education/experience requirements: Doctorate and 0 years work experience.
