a friend told me about a club. it's about english and outdoor activity. l'd like to share with all of you, my friends. http://www.playenglish.net Mobile English Club(MEC) is a non-profit, civilian and voluntary organization. Its goal is to build the biggest commonweal organization of english learning in Qingdao. MEC integrates english learning with outdoor and indoor activities, including travel, exercise, photography, acquaintance etc, which is to fulfil ideas of being close to nature, sunshine life, love and friendship communication, helping with each other and joint development. What all MEC has done is to build a warm and big family which is for all the members seeking for their dreams in Qingdao. From a few members to more than 1400 members, from simple activities to rich study activities which combined more knowledge and amusement, some new concepts of MEC are created and devised during its growing process. Finally, an unique new style English corner was developed based on mobile English forum, detailed practice of outdoor activities and introduction of fashionable recreation elements. Therefore, our activities attracted the medium attention. And the Shandong Gym Channel, Qingdao Online Medium and Today 6o Minutes respectively interviewed and reported MEC, which aroused great response in the society and attracted more friends from different cities, zones and counties to join us. To be honest, what MEC has achieved owed to collective efforts of MECers. MEC is proud of you. MEC is a big family which is active, healthy, happy and harmonious. The MEC members once climbed the mountains and went hiking on the hills, and enjoyed themselves on the beautiful beach and in the sea. Our footsteps were almost left on all the landscape of Qingdao, during which happy laugh was floating on the mountains, loud and clear singing was echoing in the valley, and red banner was dancing in the wind. These happy and joyous moments are always lingering in our minds when reminding those activities. |
