[交流] 美国纽黑文大学IMD实验室(化学)招收访问学生和学者

The Laboratory of Integrative Materials Discovery (IMD) at the University of New Haven has opening for visiting students and visiting scholars. The IMD is led by Prof. Dequan Xiao, and is focused on using chemistry theories and computational chemistry methods to design advanced materials. We collaborate with experimental groups to pursue for integrative materials discovery. More details about the IMD lab can be found at http://chemistry-hpc.newhaven.edu

Currently, we invite self-motivated visiting students or visiting scholars to pursue for the following research projects.
1. Inverse molecular design for biomass catalysts.
2. Rational design of molecular drugs for cancer therapy.
Both projects are collaborated with experimental groups at Yale University.

The visiting students or scholars should have the background in chemistry, physics, biology, or materials science. Preliminary knowledge of computational methods used in the above fields is very welcome, such as electronic structure calculations, molecular dynamics, QM-MM simulations, catalyst design, or drug design, etc. The candidates should be interested to conduct interdisciplinary theoretical/computational research with close collaboration with experimentalists.
