Job Title Technical Director Department Technical Report to General Manager Subordinate Application Development Manager; R&DSupervisor /Engineer; QC Engineer, Process Chemist Location Shunde, Guangdong Date Drafted Nov. 28, 2014 Primary Objectives - Ensure innovation activity efficient and compliance to company development strategy. - Develop new products and evaluate &realize innovation project - Improve existing product efficiency and application adaptability. - Implement product development plan and facilitate commercialization. - Provide application support for the customers. Qualifications(Education, Knowledge, Experience, Language, Special Skill, etc.) - Master degree(preferred PHD) in polymer, chemistry. - More than 10 years experiencesand knowledge in textile auxiliaries, polymer materials, silicones/silane chemistry - Proven R&D study and work experiences with strong analytical and systematic thinking capabilities. - At least 5 years management experience. - Excellent communication skills with fluency in spoken and written English. - Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization. - High team work spirit and “can-do” attitude. - Keep complete and accurate files of all relevant documentation in respect to marketing activities in accordance with IMS. - Target oriented and persistent. Responsibilities 1. Assist GM to set up innovation strategy and execute development plan within timeline and budget. 2. Basic researches to facilitate new technology development and innovation project. 3. Manage R&D team, Application Development team, QC team and process chemists. 4. Improve existing product efficiency& adaptability and intensify application development technology. 5. Implement experimental task and document results. 6. Interface with mother company R&D and technical center to get alignment, exchange information and follow up program progress. 7. Provide technical support for manufacturing upon request. 8. Daily lab management and alignment with SOP and EHS requirements. |
