International Journal of Prodution Research 字数超6000的声明如何写？ 已有1人参与

写了一篇文章投IJPR, 字数8000多，在cover letter里面写了一段话说明文章没有办法再删了，之后提交了稿件。 一个小时之后，稿件撤回，要求字数超出6000必须要对文章长度进行说明，内容如下： Your paper has been unsubmitted because you have not included a statement to justify the length of your paper. All papers that are over 6000 words should include a statement in the covering letter explaining the length. The manuscript has been returned to your Corresponding Author Centre and will be found listed under "UNSUBMITTED MANUSCRIPTS". Opening the manuscript will allow you to complete the submission as requested. Please ensure you view the pdf and "click" SUBMIT to complete the submission. 请教各位前辈，这个 statement to justify the length of your paper到底应该包含什么内容，以前没投过也不知道怎么写，为什么已经放在cover letter里面了还要被撤回呢？ |
