外导回邮件让回答以下8个问题，大家觉得应该怎样回答，外导会感兴趣。望大家能捡重点说一下。 1) Can you provide a brief summary of a recent past academic or professional project that you feel most proud of; for example, taking a leadership role, having a critical insight, etc.? 2) Which of our lab’s projects most excites you, and why? 3) What else attracts you to the School of Computing at NUS, or to Singapore in general? 4) How comfortable do you feel making technically-oriented presentations (e.g., at a conference, or a department colloquium)? 5) Which do you feel more “comfortable” with: following a well-established protocol on an already-existing project, or taking a “leap of faith” on a novel, untested project? (This is not a right-or-wrong answer, but a sense of your own preferences.) 6) Could you provide a writing sample (e.g., 3 of your best papers) that illustrates your ability to discuss a technical concept, or present a complex idea to an audience who might be unfamiliar with it? 7) What are your long-term goals following grad school? 8) What are your natural strengths/weaknesses? |
