| It is the most privileged journal in the catalysis (heterogeneous) community. Most of the papers published there are worth reading from scientific point of view. I personally value the papers there more than the catalysis papers in JACS. The acceptance of your manuscript is based on the quality of your paper, it is certain that the manuscript will be sent to two experts in the related field. The editor decides the reviewers, after taking into the consideration of your recommended reviewers. I can not say he follows your recommendation, but I am sure your manuscript will not be sent to reviewers you tell the editor not to select based on the interest of conflict. So it is quite fair.The process might take one month to one year, one of my papers was asked by a reviewer to revise for nearly one year. |
