| As a newly emerging, star material, graphene has superior properties and a stable structure, thus being ranked as a research hotspot in various fields. In this study, graphite oxide was obtained by oxidizing natural graphite powder in the presence of concentrated H2SO4 and KMnO4, which was then subjected to sonication-assisted exfoliation to produce graphene oxide (GO). By a one-pot reduction reaction, GO was converted to reduced graphene oxide (rGO) whose surface was decorated with Ag nanoparticles (NPs), thus forming a novel composite consisting of rGO-loaded Ag NPs. |
