Postdoc Fellow – Synthetic Organic Chemist

Postdoctoral position is available in the College of Pharmacy at University of Rhode Island, Kingston, RI, 02881 USA. The laboratory focuses on the investigation of natural products as therapeutic agents, as biological probes and as lead structures for medicinal chemistry. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in organic or medicinal chemistry, and demonstrated experience in multistep organic synthesis of small molecules and in their characterization (NMR, FTIR, UV-Vis, HPLC, LCMS, etc.). Independence, creativity, and excellent oral and written communication skills are essential. The initial appointment is for one year and is renewable based on research performance and progress.
