Dear Dr Zeng,

Thank you for submitting your manuscript entitled "Self-promoted phthalimide-containing phthalonitrile resins with mild curing process and excellent thermal stability" to Polymer Chemistry. Your manuscript ID is PY-ART-           . We acknowledge the receipt of this manuscript. Please quote the reference number assigned to it in all future correspondence.

Please submit the licence to publish form as soon as possible. You can use the link below to go directly to your Polymer Chemistry Author Center to submit the form. To maintain and improve publication times, you can help us by:

* Returning any revised manuscript within 4 weeks of receipt of the referees' comments (those submitted later than this may be considered as new papers).

* Returning proofs within three days of receipt.

* Following as closely as possible the recommendations detailed in the 'Information for Authors' (http://www.rsc.org/polymers).

* Authors may submit electronic supplementary information to enhance or supplement their articles and the data is made freely available via the web. For further details and examples please consult http://www.rsc.org/esi.

* Crystallographic Information Files (CIFs): if you refer to any crystallographic studies in your paper, please send the relevant CIFs immediately, as they need to be assessed by a crystallographic referee. Please also provide CheckCIF reports for the cifs that you have submitted (for X-ray Crystallographic studies only). Following a recent change in journal policy, authors are requested to provide cifs and CheckCIF reports (as a pdf) for any crystallographic studies in their articles. CheckCIF is a free-to-use cif checking web service, and can be found at http://checkcif.iucr.org/.

* Colour Contents Entries: We print contents entries in colour for all articles (free of charge). The contents entry comprises a small figure and a sentence of text emphasising the novel aspects of the work and highlighting the materials applications or properties. Both the graphic and the text of your contents entry will be edited to fit the space available and to match the house style of Polymer Chemistry contents pages. You can update your contents entry during revision.

Thank you for submitting your manuscript to Polymer Chemistry.

Yours sincerely,
Polymer Chemistry Editorial Office
