如何对付编辑Why have you submitted this for consideration by a broad based physics journal? 之前投到某个物理类综合期刊，经过几轮审稿，现在所有审稿人都已同意发表，但编辑最后出了个难题 At present, the content of the paper appears to be satisfactory from the reviewers' reports obtained, however my question is this: Why have you submitted this for consideration by a broad based physics journal? The readers of XXX are likely to ask "Why should I be interested in this work?" You state examples of areas of interest (cell biology, ecology, computer science and meteorology being some of the many areas of investigation), but I would like to see an explanation that includes and explanation of what physicists might wish to use the work for, and/or where it could be of value to them. This is important, because without such an explanation, work can be good, but entirely irrelevant to the potential readership. Once this has been addressed adequately in the introduction and the conclusions, the paper will be considered for acceptance. 请问我该如何回复编辑？ |
