I found this book is really useful in a sense it provides overviews in almost every stages in the drug industry from discovery and process development to formulation, drug metabolism, and commercialization. This directly helps me to work more effectively with analytical chemists from other functional areas. The authors surely understand what are the practical challenges that a bench analytical chemist is facing everyday and provide a lot of usful strategies such as method development recipe in chapter 8 to tackle the problems.
