   * Life cycle assessment of winter roadway operations
   * Transportation asset management
   * Environmentally sustainable materials and practices for transportation maintenance & operations

助研全奖博士，免学费并按照学校的标准每月发一定工资（About $1,750 before tax. please check the WSU grad school info)，
需要英语toefl成绩(No GRE score needed)，要走学校正式的博士申请步骤 (but contact Prof. Shi first)。

Required qualifications:
1. Self-motivated and passion for sustainability-focused research, GPA>3.0, TOEFL above the baseline (100? see WSU grad school requirement).
2. Hands-on experience in transportation researh, ideally peer-reviewed publication(s)
