Prof. Yaoyu Li in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at University of Texas at Dallas has an opening for Ph.D. Research Assistantship in distributed controls for building HVAC systems. Desired candidates are expected to have good background in control systems. Background in mechanical engineering (e.g. thermofluids) or chemical engineering would be preferred, but not required.
