Title: PhD student, postdoc positions in Prof. Lain-Jong (Lance) Li??s Group at KAUST in Saudi Arabia

Prof. Lain-Jong (Lance) Li??s group is well recognized for chemical vapor deposition and characterizations of two dimensional materials including transition metal dichalcogenides, graphene and their hetero-structures. The research interest includes the fundamental properties of the two dimensional materials and novel applications such as Li ion battery, hydrogen generation and future electronics.

Currently there are opening positions for PhD student and postdoctoral researchers with interest and experience in 2D material synthesis via chemical vapor deposition method (CVD). Postdoc applicants are expected to have a solid publication record on the subject, and showing capacity for team work. Strong conceptual and practical background on 2D materials synthesis and applications are required.
Salary and benefits:

Remuneration will be highly competitive and commensurate with the applicant's qualifications and experience. For PhD students, the typical annual stipend is $30,000 U.S. dollars (tax-free). For postdoctoral research fellows, a typical annual salary ranges from $50,000 (for fresh PhD) to $70,000 U.S. dollars (for PhD with very rich and excellent research experience) (tax-free). Successful applicants will also receive attractive compensation and benefit packages provided by KAUST.(including housing, medical, education and et al..)
