Postdoctoral Position in Cancer Biology at the Markey Cancer Center of University of Kentucky is immediately available. Our laboratory is interested in studying the mechanisms of breast cancer metastasis and tumor progression. We use in vitro assays and mouse models to investigate the signal regulation and gene function in tumor progression. More information can be found in: Cell Reports, 5(1):224-36, 2013; EMBO J.29(11):1803-16, 2010; Cancer Cell. 15(5):416-28, 2009. The successful applicants should have a Ph.D degree with strong background in basic molecular biology/biochemistry/cell biology and have high skills in tissue culture, molecular cloning, and protein expression. The independent, self-motived, strong attention to details, multi-tasking, willingness to learn new technologies, and committed to academic biomedical research are highly needed.
