| The thermal stability of organic materials is critical for their applications as luminescent emitters because thermal stability governs the stability and lifetime of devices. If a device is heated above theTg of its organic material components, irreversible failure can occur. Hence, a relatively high Tg is essential for emissive materials used for optoelectronic applications. Thermal properties were investigated by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA). The Tg values of1B-TPA, 2B-TPAand3B-TPAwere 137.9, 196.7 and 214.3 C, respectively, which were much higher than those of the two reported typical AIE-active compounds, 1-methyl-1,2,3,4,5-pentaphenylsilole (MPPS, 54 C) and 1,1,2,3,4,5-hex-aphenylsilole (HPS, 65 C). |
