路过的大神指点一二呀 Major Revision什么情况 接受的可能性大么 已有2人参与

今年10月上旬投稿的Springer的Apoptosis，大概审了一个月左右，速度很快；刚收到邮件说是要修改Major Revision，但是邮件最后编辑主要是提及了格式和英语语法的问题，修改之后接收可能性大不，赶着毕业，路过大神指点指点啊，信件内容大致如下： Based on the advice received, the Editor feels that your manuscript could be reconsidered for publication should you be prepared to incorporate major revisions. When preparing your revised manuscript, you are asked to carefully consider the reviewer comments which are attached, and submit a list of responses to the comments. Your list of responses should be uploaded as a file in addition to your revised manuscript. COMMENTS FOR THE AUTHOR: Reviewer #1: This review describes the roles of Mtb effectors in host cell apoptosis regulation. The topic and information covered will help understanding of the pathological process and developing TB control methods. However, this review is not well written and organized. It feels more like a list of factors influencing apoptosis, and there are many grammar mistakes. It is not easy to follow, major revision is needed. 1. Please incorporate more explanations and discussions. 2. Necrosis was mentioned in abstract, but was not discussed in main text. Reviewer #2: The authors of Manuscript , entitled "……" provide a cogent and thorough review of the roles of apoptosis, autophagy, and necrosis, and the associated factors regulating these processes, in the Mycobacterium pathogen. This is a comprehensive summary that includes a discussion on potential ways to therapeutically exploit these pathways under consideration to better control tuberculosis. This review believes the scope of the article aligns well with the Aims of the journal and would be relevant and of interest to its audience. Reviewer #3: The manuscript submitted by Liu et al. discusses the current state of the art of how host or Mycobacterium tuberculosis modulates host apoptosis to favour or limit infection outcome. The paper focuses mainly in the description of both host and pathogen factors that lead to inhibition or promotion of cell death. Nevertheless, this has been traditionally during the last decade a topic with some degree of discrepancy between different authors, giving to apoptosis a host protective role in some cases, or as mechanism of the bacteria to infect host cells in other ones. In this regard, after reading the manuscript, I was not able to find a deep discussion about the implications of apoptosis in the bacterial infection outcome. My impression is that authors focus too much in the description of the pro or anti-apoptotic factors, and apparently they pass over the debate about how apoptosis limits or promotes infection. Reviewer #4: The paper by ……et al tries to review the mechanisms used by……. This is a controversial issue that deserves attention but in this review all discussion is based on the assumption that host cell apoptosis is a defense mechanism to fight tuberculosis infection. However, as indicated by the authors in the first page "&". Unfortunately this is the only reference to this controversy in the whole paper. The authors should also discuss the relationship of …… in the context of the findings of diverse independent groups showing that apoptosis can be a virulence factor……. Some examples (reviewed in Aguilo et al Frontiers Cell Infect. Microb 2013): - There are so many typos that it is difficult to indicate all of them in this revision. The authors should carefully revise the whole manuscript and correct all of them. - Writting and grammar should be revised and corrected in depth. Editor's comments: You should have your paper edited by a native English speaker with editorial experience. In the title, only the first letter (M} should be upper case (capitol). Please remove the section numbers. Sections should not be numbered. In the references list the first 6 authors should be named before ending with "et al." |
