Job Description: Research Fellow #1 will conduct CFDanalysis so as to adapt and optimize the patent-pending oblique fin structureto achieve significant air-side heat transfer enhancement. He/she will alsointegrate the structure into novel heat exchanger designs and fabricate variousprototypes and conduct the required experiment validations. Research Fellow #2 will adapt and integratethe patent-pending oblique fin structure into novel heat exchanger designs forwaste heat recovery to achieve significant efficiency improvement. He/she willalso build and test various prototypes and conduct the required experimentvalidations. Job Requirements: Applicants should possess a PhD degree inthe area of thermal sciences in (heat transfer, thermodynamics and fluidmechanics) from a reputable university, with a strong background inCFD/numerical modelling and have good written and verbal communication skills.Personal qualities such as the ability to take initiative and to workindependently, having a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills andcommitment to deliver results would be much valued. Experience with grantwriting will be an added advantage.
