女王玛丽大学招生物信息CSC博士生 已有9人参与

QMUL (Queen Mary University of London) is the member of the Russell Group (other members include University of Cambridge, University of Oxford, LSE, ICL etc.) and the institution with the track record of hosting most CSC students in the past several years. The School of Biological and Chemical Science achieved 12 CSCs in 2014 and plan more CSCs for 2015. Prof. Conrad Bessant is willing to recruit 1-2 CSC students in the area of Proteomics and Metabolomics . He is a high profile professor with papers in Nature journals and is the lead author of the textbook “Building Bioinformatics Solutions”. He has successfully guided 16 PhD students through to completion. All applicants must have: 1) A sound understanding of molecular biology / biochemistry and data analysis. 2) A good first degree (at least an upper-second class Honours degree or equivalent qualification) in a relevant scientific subject (e.g. biochemistry, genetics, statistics, biotechnology). 3) Good English language skills, with evidence of an IELTS score of 6.5 with a minimum score of 5.5 in each module of the test.
