Ref.: Ms. No. JMS-14-1696 Gasoline desulfurization by TiO2-filled Ethyl cellulose pervaporation membrane Journal of Membrane Science Dear Dr. Hou, I have preliminarily reviewed your manuscript before it is sent out for a review. Unfortunately I found that your work and the quality of the manuscript does not meet the stadard of Journal of Membrane Science. I have gone over the reviews very carefully, and I think the referees have raised a number of very valid concerns. Thus, I am unable to accept your paper for publication. The Journal of Membrane Science is working hard to increase the overall quality of the Journal by focusing on work that really makes a significant contribution to our understanding of membrane science and technology -- we are now accepting less than one-third of all submissions to the Journal. I do not feel that the current effort rises to the level required for publication in the Journal. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions about this.
